We were given a task to make a re-branding of the Institute of Economics in Petrozavodsk. The difficulty of creating a brand was in the fact that it was hard to choose a specific sign that would accurately reflect the organization's activities. Also, it was necessary to comply with modern style and at the same time, the severity of corporate identity.
For creating a logo we've made an association card. An abstract symbol was taken as the basis, which initially invested the image of stairs and arrows -moving upwards. As a result, our thoughts coincided with the associations of the customer, who saw the sign as the ascending and descending graph.
At the end, we've managed to create a brand that is suitable not only for Petrozavodsk, but also for almost any city in any country.
